Softball: Short and Cogent (The End of a Disturbing Feckless Period)
Dear People,
In an aerobic mosaic of exquisite competitivitude, my team beat Broh’s on the last hit of the match, 23-22. And for the record, that final RBI was thanks to a sizzlin’ line drive by Olga, who had not played a single game in over six months! Am I claiming that this, in itself, is proof that "practice" is totally useless and an overrated waste of time? Yes, in fact, I am, but that’s not the point.
Sunday’s real hero was Jonny, whose three breathtaking blasts onto the Yak-laden tundra beyond left field show once again that, when it comes to what’s coursing through his tiny little South African veins, nothing is as synergistically potent as Wheaties, whisky, viagra and crack. And therefore there will be a game at Codornices this Sunday at 11AM, IF I get enough commits by this Friday morning…Raymond
