Softball: Moisture so Foul
Dear People,
It is 12:30 PM Friday and we are still a bit short of a quorum (12 commits total). While I am in a joyous mood thanks to my clean bill of dental health, I must face harsh climatological realities in deciding weather its worth my time to troll for additional players.
As you know, I feel the venomous sting of a thousand rapacious army ants whenever I cancel a game. Still, the fact remains that every weekend forecast is now calling for heavy rain, indeed a rain so fierce that one will be left mesmerized by the raw cantankerous emotion of nature itself. When viewed in the context of Dan Qualye's just announced decision to run for the Presidency, I must conclude that the timing is not auspicious, the center cannot hold, and the game, alas, is not to be....Raymond
