Softball: The Bitter Life of Ghost Co-Authorship

Dear People,

As best I can remember, Jonny's team beat my own 16-11, but that's not important now. The raw and brutal reality is that I am still caged in my sister's Seattle dungeon as I peck these very words, and indeed, if I'm caught writing all of you, I face a swift and certain death. I'll be brief:

There will be a game at Codornices this SATURDAY at 11AM, IF I get enough commits by this Friday morning. Godspeed…Raymond

Softball: Another Visit to Chez Pretentious

Dear People,

There will probably be a game at Codornices tomorrow (Saturday) at 11AM, and as of now, there is still one slot left. You’ll need to check email if it rains between now and then.

This week’s field fee is just $3, and that includes a whole petrale sole with celery root rémoulade, or as I called it as a kid, ‘fish’……Ray 845-7552

Softball: Saturday 9:35AM: With God on our Side…

Yes, there’s moisture in the soil, it’s still bitter cold and I see those contemptible nibostratus clouds in the distance as I write this very drivel. Yet Codornices is wondrous and vital and totally playable, and more importantly, when I look down the list of today’s 22 players, I realize I have never seen a more impressive melange of stout aerobic determination.

See ya at 11…Raymond
