Softball: The Only Hope You Really Have

Dear People,

Once again, you have suffered through an extended period of debilitating slothiositude, and have no doubt grown effete and wan. I cannot stand idly by and watch an entire generation of Bay Area vitality ossify into so much thermodynamic dross, and yet the hard truth is that quick fixes like pills and prayer will not stave off the inexorable degradation of our bodies, little less the systematic thrashing of our very dreams. Only softball will do that. You know it. I know it. The American People know it.

Therefore, there will be a softball game this Sunday, March 22nd at 2PM, at Kleeberger North, IF I get the minimum number of commits by this Friday at noon at the latest. Yes, there is a risk of rain, but the greater risk is to sit back and not commit, indeed, to cower in the abstracted shadow of the storm not present, a callow metaphorical shell of one's former self....Raymond

PS: As usual, please let me know if you would play touch football, were a lack of quorum or intermittent light drizzle to rear their sordid heads.
