Softball: Same Time/Different Place
Dear People,
There WILL be a game this Sunday at 11AM sharp. HOWEVER, due to a bureaucratic sanfu of nearly Kafkaesque dimensions, the game will not be played at San Pablo but rather at Bushrod Field, just South of the Berkeley border in North Oakland. Not to worry; I have personally scouted out this park, and to my delight, I can assure you that it is also huge, well kept, and covered with grass as lush and green as a grasshopper's belly......Raymond 845-7552

---To get to Bushrod: Get yourself to Shattuck Ave, and then turn east on 60th or 59th until you hit Racine. The park is surrounded by 59th/60th and Shattuck/Racine, with two giant baseball fields on the Racine Side.
---Unless I'm notified, I'll presume all commits still are, but there are still several maybes that should let me know if they can play ; the 22+ rule is in effect.
---Oakland is cheaper than Berkeley; Please bring $1 to cover the cost of reservation.
---If there is a rain out, I'll email Sunday morning. However, if
there is only light drizzle, they'll still be a football game for those who want.
---Finally, PLEASE get there at 11AM at the latest, since the field may be taken at 1PM, and regardless, forcing other people to sit around waiting for you is not nice. All you have to do is remember that 11AM is just like 11:18AM, except that from a chronological perspective, 11:AM is 18 minutes earlier.
