Softball: A Brief Reappraisal of Zero Population Growth

Dear People,

For the second year in a row, Enid dominated the mound in a grueling Mother’s Day match that featured the vital assistance of Grady—her beloved prepubescent whipper-snapper of an 11 year old son—and thus my team crushed Chris Fure’s, 18-13. The Gradyiator is still a physically small rascal by community standards, but his line drives were as manly as Matt’s, his fielding was superb (except when the ball bounced straight into his tiny little chin), and most importantly, his very youth and innocence was the inspirational fillip that solidified our triumph.

Sure, we all know that I’m a surgically-clipped anti-procreative children-fearing monster, but I gotta tell ya, filial was the pride I felt that fine day. And therefore there will be a game at Codornices this Sunday at 11, IF I get enough commits by this Friday morning. . .Ray

Softball: Prudence

Dear People,

There will be a game at Codornices this Sunday at 11, and as of now there are, shamefully, six slots still left. You are therefore encouraged to invite any non-community people you know, from cherished friends and paramours to former therapists and cell mates. Yeah, broad is the tent when we open our doors.

This week’s field fee is just $4, and that includes comprehensive fire, health and alien abduction insurance for the complete duration of the match. . .Raymond 845-7552
