Softball: Somewhat Laconic

Dear People,

In a harrowing battle with Chris Fure’s team, my side clung to a slim 8-8 lead as late as the penultimate inning. Somehow, though, we still managed to go up in flames, 19-10, and in all candor, I’m utterly baffled as to how the hell this happened. Nevertheless, I think we all know that when history writes her final verdict, it will be clear that payoffs, pine tar and gaslighting played their typically insidious roles.

The point is that it’s late Tuesday evening, I nearly forgot to write this, and now, quite frankly, I’m just not that inspired to woo you. Of course this begs the question; Does this lack of wooage mean I now cherish you less as a people? I honestly don’t know. And therefore there will be a game at Codornices this Sunday at 11, IF I get enough commits by this Friday morning. . .Raymond
