Softball: The Return!
Dear People,
There will be a softball game this Saturday, June 14th, at 4:30 PM at Cordenessis Field, IF we get the requisite number of committed players, as explained in my previous codified frothings of dubious organizational effectiveness. As you may have noticed, there was no game called last week so that I could increase the number of dedicated athleticists willing to take part in this most noble of redolent experiments. But now, I am pleased to report that through bent of nothing more than shameless social slutitude, the sublime and stentorian yelp of bat and ball is closer than we ever dared hope.
As usual, please RSVP as soon as possible, but absolutely no later than Friday morning. Those who commit to this endeavor take risks that your parents, friends and lovers will never understand, and yet, in your heart, you know it's the right thing to do. I'm sure you would all agree that complete alienation from everyone you know is a small price to pay for the chance to hit a double. Wuv...Ray
